and put four holes into it. The tree punched three holes into the roof, and one of those holes went right into the room below it. The tree also punched one hole right through the wall of the very same room. It was a young girl's room painted the color of newly green, summer grass. The girl, her name was Lily, could look out the holes and see the blue, Texas sky and feel a breeze upon her cheek. No one was hurt, except the house of course. For that reason, the family that lived in the house felt lucky indeed and counted their blessings.
Here is a picture of one of the tree pieces that came through the roof. Note the pink insulation and the white dust from the sheetrock.
It sure can get windy right quick in Texas!
